U.S. Showcases Quality Food Products at AAHAR 2008

NEW DELHI -- High quality food and agricultural products from the United States are on display at the U.S. Pavilion of the "AAHAR 2008" food exhibition in New Delhi, March 10-14, 2008.
Leading U.S. food industry organizations such as the American Soybean Association, California Prune Board, Washington Apple Commission, Southern United States Trade Association, Food Export Association of the Midwest USA, and Food Export USA North East are participating in the U.S. Pavilion, showcasing a wide range of food offerings including soy-products, pistachios, prunes and apples, and processed and consumer food products from the Southern, Midwest and Northeast states of the United States.
U.S. Ambassador David C. Mulford, who visited the U.S. Pavilion today, welcomed visitors and said, "The U.S. exhibitors are bringing to India the best quality and most delicious American food products. The participating U.S. food exporters are very pleased to be doing business in India and happy to partner with Indian importers, distributors, supermarkets, food processors and hotel and restaurant industry groups."
