CD ROMs

CD-ROM (Compact Disk Read Only Memory) an exciting information storage and retrieval system, is available for the use of patrons. Some of the titles the library has on CD-ROM are Books in Print with Book Reviews Plus, Ulrich's Plus, and Information USA.

The PRO-QUEST: General Periodicals Ondisc contains abstracts and indexing to articles from over 1000 general reference periodicals beginning 1986. It includes image full text articles from over 300 periodicals.

Reprints from above CD-ROM databases may be obtained against a charge of Rs. 3 per page. Patrons may view a series of Multimedia CD-ROMs, a system which combines text, video, graphics, sound and animation.
